Meth lab taken down near Westminster

One arrest made when law enforcement seized what’s call a meth lab and a pill press on Friday near Westminster.  The county sheriff’s office reported the scene at 4725 Toccoa Highway, between Tabor and Phillip Lear roads.  Charges were pursued against Colby Edward Watts, 29 years old.  The sheriff’s office credits undercover ops with making buys of oxy and meth at the Toccoa Highway address.  According to Capt. Ken Washington, a pill press can be used to make pills of Fentanyl to look like other prescription medication.  And that, said Washington, increases the likelihood of overdose if a person takes a pill without realizing it’s made of Fentanyl.
