Meeting of the (sewer) minds Friday

Oconee sewer commissioners wondered aloud how they’ll have adequate time Friday to explain to county leaders all of the issues on their minds.  At the May meeting yesterday of the board of the Joint Regional Sewer Commission, the commissioners reviewed a printed agenda prepared for Friday morning’s joint meeting with the Oconee County Council.  They were surprised to learn that only one hour is being devoted to their get together, which is scheduled for 11 am in the chambers of council.  Brian Ramey of Westminster, board chairman, says members of a third group, the county planning commission, are also believed to be participants at the meeting.  One of the agenda items is the need for a master plan to address areas of the county not included in the Fair Play-Townville basin plan.
