Meadows must testify, court rules

South Carolina’s highest court of judges, the state Supreme Court, has issued an opinion that Mark Meadows, former White House chief of staff, must testify before the special grand jury that’s investigating whether then-President Trump and others tried to influence the 2020 election in Georgia.  Meadows is known to be a Pickens County, South Carolina property owner.  According to the Associated Press, the lead investigator, Fulton County, Georgia district attorney Fani Willis, considers Meadows an important witness.  A legal source tells 101.7/WGOG NEWS that because Meadows doesn’t live in Georgia, prosecutor Willis had to use a process that involved getting a judge in South Carolina, where Meadows lives.
