Marina expansion back in the laps of the city planners

A zoning change to allow a Seneca marina to expand will be again on the meeting table of the city planning commission.  The commissioners are to meet at 6 o’clock Monday night at city hall.  The agenda indicates they will re-visit Lake Keowee Marina’s request for a change from RM-16 zoning for 11.6 acres on Old Salem Road, Hughes, Street, and Loran Pointe Circle.  In October, a crowd filled the city hall council chambers where, in spite of a favorable 4-0 commission vote, there was divided opinion among the meeting audience.
