Man hurt near store gas pumps
The police in Seneca say a man walking back to his parked car in a parking lot was struck by a second vehicle that was backing up. The man fell to the pavement, and required a trip to a Greenville hospital with what an officer reported was a head injury. Capt. McClure said the injured man was “disoriented but conscious” and officers were enroute to yesterday afternoon to the Greenville hospital to investigate further. The accident scene was the parking lot of Xpress foods at N. 1st and Cherry streets.
