Lila Doyle acquisition grows company’s portfolio

The acquisition of Lila Doyle at Seneca by a southern California company took effect November 1, according to an announcement by the Ensign Group.  And the acquiring company is attaching a new name to the skilled nursing facility:  “Lila Doyle Post Acute”.  Barry Port, Ensign’s CEO, said, “This acquisition created a perfect opportunity for our continued growth in South Carolina.  We are thrilled to strengthen our relationship with Prisma Health, where we can add our expertise and partner to provide the best possible care to residents and their families at this facility.”  Lila Doyle is a 120-bed facility.   According to the company’s announcement, the acquisition brings Ensign’s portfolio to 269 healthcare operations in 13 states, 26 of which include senior living operations.
