Lawsuit dismissed

A lawsuit between the Tamassee DAR School and the Missouri State Society DAR is no more.  The suit involved a financial dispute.  But Andrew Holliday of Seneca, attorney for plaintiff Tamassee DAR, recently filed in the Oconee Common Pleas Court a stipulation of dismissal.  In a motion for dismissal, an attorney for the defendant asserted that the plaintiff’s claims are barred and called attention to a Missouri court order which held that the Tamassee school “has no right, title or interest” in funds that had been held and managed by the National DAR “and have been since returned to Defendant.”
