Late night investigation produces two arrests

A late night investigation by Oconee sheriff’s officers produced a pair of weekend arrests in the parking lot of a rural retail store.  The sheriff’s office announces charges against Crystal Dewyna Baker and Kevin Eugene Jackson after a deputy became suspicious of a car parked by the side of the Dollar General on the Ebenezer Road.  The charges against 44-year-old Baker are listed as resisting arrest, distribution of meth, and interference with officers serving warrants.  Sixty-one-year-old Jackson’s charges are listed giving false information and five active warrants from magistrate’s court.  Sheriff’s officers started their investigation with an alarm activation about 45 minutes after the 10 o’clock Saturday night store closing time.
