Large Westminster street work request gets funded

Seneca, Westminster, and the local DOT will be on the receiving end of road and street funds, approved today by the county committee which allocates state “C” funds.  Westminster fared the best, as the city got the approval to spend $760 thousand.  Much of that, city administrator Kevin Bronson announced, will fill potholes on streets that serve many of the city’s low income neighborhoods.  Among the potholes that are to be fixed are those on streets including Ann Davis, S. and N. Pew Street, Bermuda, S. Piedmont, E. Main, Oak Street, W. Cobb, Grey Street, Quick Street, Willow Row, and Maple Street.
