Large crowd, most seats taken

An audience of around 75 people heard the men and women competing this year for Seats 2 and 5 on the Oconee County Council.  And the crowd was not shy with its applause, much of the time polite applause to what the candidates said and an occasional rousing applause when they especially liked what they heard.  This was a night for members of the public to gauge between Matthew Durham and India Lancaster in District Two and Glenn Hart and Gwen McPhail in District Five.  Through our broadcast day, 101.7/WGOG will play back excerpts, including remarks made in the candidates’ closing two-minute comments.
