Kenny Johns treads on a return to politics

The former probate judge, Kenny Johns, is considering a run this fall for mayor of Walhalla.  Johns admits that the planned exodus of the longtime mayor, Danny Edwards, has him contemplating seeking the mayor’s office.  Earlier in his life, when he was 30 years old, Johns served as mayor, following a stint on the city council.  A second Walhallan whose name has been mentioned as a mayoralty possibility is that of Keith Pace, a current councilman.  But yesterday Pace ruled himself out of a try for mayor, saying, “As for now, I’m happy where I’m at.”
