Juneteenth celebration switched to indoors

Tonight’s Juneteenth celebration has been moved inside to the Hendrix Student Center at Clemson University.  The walk has been cancelled.  Making possible the local commemoration of the day that federal troops ensured that all enslaved persons were freed are the city of Clemson, Clemson University, the city of Seneca, and Call Me Mister.  Juneteenth is the longest-running African American holiday.  President Biden in 2021 signed legislation making the day a federal holiday.
