Judge rules against defendant’s motion

After a ruling by 10th Circuit Judge McIntosh, an officer of Oconee General Sessions Court said the state’s case against Nathan McCall will continue.  McCall, a resident of Salem area, faces the charge of attempted murder in the wounding of a visitor to his home, as the two men fought each other in a bedroom and then went outside where gunfire inflicted a wound to the head of Timothy Nabors Sr.  A dispute over a woman, according to what the court heard today, was the genesis for the commotion between McCall and Nabors.  The incident is alleged to have occurred in the yard of McCall’s home—on Little River Lane.
