In the works: massive litter cleanup in Seneca

Like many parts of Oconee, Seneca has its share of roadsides defaced by litter.  The police chief has major ambitions to turn that around.  Chief Casey Bowling says the city is inviting the public to devote two hours next week to scooping up what should not be adorning the sides of streets.  The spring-time cleanup is planned from 10 am to the noon hour Thursday, March 10.  If you’d like to pitch in, just show up around 9:30 on the morning of the 10th at the city’s recreation complex.
