How to deflect a potential $40M price tag

If the Hall Street Community Park is developed in three phases, the total cost could approximate $40M.  However, Westminster administrator Kevin Bronson, highlighted multiple state and federal grant opportunities (among them CDBGs, Rural Infrastructure grants, and new market tax credits).  Amenities created by the park could add to the city’s recreation offerings four centrally-located ball fields, splash pad, sand volleyball, pickle ball, disc golf, batting cages, walking track.  There is the economic benefit as alluded to by planning members Chester Lee and Suzette Snedigar.
