Hotel room burglarized, arrest made
A 40-year old Columbia area woman was placed under arrest by the Seneca police and charged with burglarizing a local hotel room. Arrest records allege Prosperity resident Kendra Nicole Tucker is accused of entering a Hampton Inn room around 3:30 Thursday morning on EN 1st Street and taking a college student’s backpack. The backpack contained various school supplies worth $550 dollars, and the student was preparing to start college classes. According to the police report, the student was spending the night with her father and the two were awakened around 3:30 by the sound of glass breaking in the bathroom.
