Hot topic for Clemson?

An application for a planned development from a limited liability company named CS Acquisition goes to a public hearing next month in Clemson.  City Council has set 5 o’clock Monday evening, February 5 at city hall to hear what’s planned for about 5.5 acres near Keowee Trail and Wall Street, a neighborhood inside what’s known as the Uptown District of the city.  Proposed are 450 student-oriented housing units (1,300 beds); and 8,500 square feet of commercial/retail space.  Documents associated with the February 5 hearing may be accessed through the Calendar of Events on the city’s website.
