Hospital a partner building habitat houses

Prisma Health partners with Habitat for Humanity this week to help build eight homes in six counties, including one near Seneca’s Shiloh Road.  The project is considered the largest one-day, multi-location project in the housing organization’s South Carolina history.  The eight housing properties are in varying stages of construction, ranging from framing to homes ready for paint inside and out.  Recent Prisma Health grants have provided $80,300 for home projects across the Upstate and Midlands.  Habitat builds homes for individuals and families whose incomes range from 30-80% of the area median incomes as a way to advance homeownership that is affordable.  Recipients of those homes take part in building them.
