Homeowner gets OK for a zoning variance

A homeowner in the Crossroads Community south of Seneca received approval of a variance of 10 feet from the front setback requirement.  The variance allows John Ramey to add a garage on his property.  Besides Ramey, the one speaker to address the board was Glenn Hart, the county councilman who lent his knowledge of public right-of-way distance gleaned in his profession as a land surveyor.
