Graham statement on the Hunter Biden plea deal

The plea deal for Hunter Biden fell apart in court.  ABC’s Steven Portnoy reports the judge voiced concern about the agreement.  The President’s son was to have pleaded guilty to misdemeanor tax charges, and expected to avoid prosecution on a felony gun charge.  The judge found the parties did not agree exactly on the terms, and requested additional briefings in the coming weeks.  Republicans’ suspicions about the son of the Democratic president are not satisfied.  Example are these comments by Senator Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican:  “I hope the system will continue to move forward and look at the real and serious concerns surrounding Hunter Biden’s involvement with foreign governments and agents of foreign governments.  The public needs to know the truth.”
