Good riddance to those taste, odor issues

Good riddance to those taste and odor issues that have beset Pioneer Rural Water—especially since the Oconee-Anderson supplier started to produce its own water three years ago.  Word from Terry Pruitt, Pioneer GM, is that they’ve cease and have departed at least for the rest of this year.  The expense to treat the raw Lake Hartwell water supply is a concern, but Pioneer has hopes of recovering costs—thru                                                           a grant application to state government.  And a decision on the application is expected in the spring, as Pruitt explained in an interview airing today on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
