Golf outing to benefit special needs individuals

Former Seneca resident (and now Anderson resident) Mike Cannon invites golfers to tee it up next month for a day of golf, all proceeds from which will benefit special needs clients in Anderson County.  It’s going to be a six-hole tourney at 3 pm Thursday, September 28 at Anderson’s Cobb’s Glenn Country Club. The plan is to raise money a covered shelter for picnics and birthday parties for special needs’ residents from 17 group homes across Anderson County.  For more information and registration, you can reach Cannon at 864/314-2610.
