God’s hand in Watts’ recovery

Grant Keehn, the Walhalla city councilman, called to order a utilities committee meeting this morning with a prayer that spoke of the hand that God is believed to have had in the struggle for the hospitalized deputy sheriff to stay alive, after being seriously wounded last week in a shooting while in performance of his duties.  Keehn spoke in admiringly amazing terms relating what Sheriff Crenshaw said was a moment last week when the sheriff and physicians thought that 27-year old Watts had passed, only to detect life.  And Watts is believed to now to remain in stable hospital condition.
