Georgia Bulldogs en masse at Toccoan’s funeral

Head Coach Kirby Smart, assistant Will Muschamp, and a large number of Georgia’s national championship football team took up one side of a Toccoa church auditorium to mourn the death of Chandler LeCroy, regarded as an integral member of the university’s football program.  Twenty-four-year old LeCroy died after the crash of a car last weekend at Athens, an accident that also killed offensive lineman Devin Willock and injured two others.  LeCroy’s funeral took place yesterday at Toccoa’s First Baptist Church.  Large buses brought the UGA contingent to Toccoa and one side of the church auditorium was reserved for them.
