Gary Bruce Green found dead in home fire

An autopsy is planned early this week on the body of a 61-year old Oconee County man.  Coroner Addis says Gary Bruce Green was found dead in his home fire Saturday afternoon near Salem, at 134 Grant Mill Road.  Fire fighters were sent to the address at 4:35 pm, and Green’s body was found in the living room after the fire was extinguished.  The death is being investigated by the “SLED” investigators, Oconee Emergency Services, and the Oconee Sheriff’s Office.  They are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
