Forum arranged for District One’s candidates

Each candidate entered in the June primary for a seat as a District One office holder will have the chance to speak — and meet the public — in a forum this month in the Oconee County community of Ebenezer.  According to a Republican group announcement, the forum will take place from 9 to 11 o’clock Saturday morning, April 23 at the Ebenezer Community Club building at 1106 Ebenezer Road, West Union.  Competing in the June primary election this year for the District One seat in the state House of Representatives are Bill Whitmire, the incumbent, and Wallace Sparks, the challenger.  Competing for Seat One, Oconee County Council are John Elliott, the incumbent, and Kay Keehn Knapp, the challenger.
