Forum addressed safety precautions

More than two dozen Oconeeans were in the audience last night in Seneca to learn what can be done to ensure personal safety in the event of an active shooter incident.  John Hester of West Union and family were among those there to learn best practices for self-defense and how to comport themselves following an incident.  The Oconee School District’s Evie Hughes spoke on the process a parent or guardian should follow to reconnect with their children at the scene of a school shooting.  Last night’s forum at Seneca High was arranged by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office.
