For new Seneca school, Trehel gets a guaranteed maximum price

Property on Wells Highway at Seneca is beginning to take shape for the construction of a new middle school.  Tonight’s the school district’s preferred new school builder was approved for a guaranteed maximum price.  It’s a price that Steve Hanvey, associate superintendent, reflects the rising costs of inflation and supplies.  Builder Trehel Corporation’s GMP will total $46,775 million, as spelled out in a motion by Seneca trustee Dr. Sandra Sloan.  She further specified that the total cost to build the new Seneca Middle School will approach $54 million.  To be exact:  $53,941,551.
