First speakers represented ticket candidates

Pamela Evette and Harrison Musselwhite were the first candidates to speak to GOP event Saturday at Chau Ram Park.  Evette and Musselwhite occupy positions on opposite Republic tickets for governor.  Evette is the state’s lieutenant governor.  She, along with Governor Henry McMaster, is running for re-election and was the first to speak on Saturday.  We spoke to Evette just moments before she took to the stage, and heard some of the McMaster-Evette planks to make the state’s economy strong and to put a dent into the continuing worker shortage.  She was followed by the head of an opposition ticket, Harrison Musselwhite, also known as “Trucker Bob.”  Musselwhite made clear to Saturday’s assemblage that he not only believes McMaster has been wrongheaded about policy, but he’s also an adamant opponent to the presidential administration of Biden and Harris.
