Fire chief to retire

Long-time Keowee Fire Chief Brandon Shirley has made retirement plans.  Donn Chamberlain, chairman of the Keowee Fire Commission, says Shirley retires at the end of the year and will be succeeded by department Capt. Kris Childress.
