Field fire consumed four acres at Seneca

Fire fighters at Seneca put out a field fire Friday afternoon that, at one point, caused concern that the fire might spread to the Madison Pointe subdivision.  In the end, the fire was contained away from the development, although it created a burnt semi-circle around a nearby brick home.  In all, according to Chief Caudill, four acres were blackened alongside WS 4th Street behind a Wells Highway convenience store.  The origin for the fire remained an unknown Friday.
