Festival set next month at High Falls County Park

The Dia de los Muertos Festival returns next month to Oconee County’s High Falls Park.  On Saturday, November 4, from 2 to 8 pm, promised are family-friendly activities, educational programs, food, and much fun.  Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a time-honored cultural tradition that celebrates the lives of loved ones who have passed away.  Liz Boles Johnson, park superintendent, says, “We believe that the Second Annual Dia de los Muertos Festival is not just an event; it’s a bridge that connects hearts, generations, and cultures, reminding us of the beauty in celebrating life, love, and heritage together.”
