Feed a child for Christmas

For some Oconee public school children, food on the table can be a problem.  That is why Oconee First Steps, partnering with the United Way of Oconee, will offer lunch for children who are home for the Christmas holiday.  Lunch will be served Monday through Thursday, December 18-21 at the Walhalla Library, at Seneca’s Our Daily Bread, and at the Westminster Recreation Department.  The time for all locations is 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. On Thursday the 21st a holiday meal will be given to children to take home. Anyone interested in being a sponsor for a child’s meal, or being a volunteer server, can email Oconee County First Steps at [email protected].
