Expansion more likely than new Seneca library

If it were a perfect world, Blair Hinson and the board of the Oconee Public Library would simply write a check to replace the 1968 Seneca Library with a modern day facility.  But the reality is that library supporters are required to defer to the county’s fathers for the monies needed to either build anew at Seneca or do something at the current location just south of the railroad track.  In a 101.7/WGOG NEWS interview, county library director Blair Hinson admitted an expansion is more likely than a new library.  Oconee County Council gets at least one new member in 2023.  He’s Don Mize, the District Three member-elect.  And Hinson is unsure what Mize thinks about the Seneca Library.
