Expanding Clemson’s noise law

Things can become rambunctious in and around a major university; tonight, at the request of the police chief, the Clemson City Council will consider an addition to its excessive noise law. The proposed new language:  “Any sound measuring over 90 decibels that may be heard at a distance over 100 feet from the source of the sound, lasting more than 1 minute continuously, or over 5 minutes intermittently.”
