Early voting ends today in Georgia

If you are a Georgia voter, today is your last chance to vote early in-person in that state’s U-S Senate run-off.  Neither incumbent Rapheal Warnock, the Democrat, nor the Republican challenger, Herschel Walker, received the required 50% plus 1 vote to win the seat in the November General Election.  Advance voting turnout this week has been heavy across Georgia, including Hart and Franklin counties.  By yesterday afternoon, 2,213 people had cast early ballots at Carnesville in Franklin County and 206 absentee paper ballots had been returned out of the 386 sent.  In Hart County, the elections supervisor recorded 3,800 in-person early ballots were cast since Monday and nearly 300 absentee paper ballots out of 460 sent out.  After today, the next chance to vote will be Tuesday next week, as voters head to their precincts on run-off day.
