Early May gun incident leads to arrest

An arrest has been made by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office in an investigation that started in early May when a deputy sheriff interviewed a man who said he had a confrontation with a second individual that allegedly led to the second man pointing a firearm and making threats.  Law enforcement records show the arrest of Jonathan Edward Gosnell, 33 years old, on the charge of pointing and presenting firearms at a person. The deputy went to an address in the vicinity of Westminster’s Greenfield Road and took a report indicating that a man, riding a motor bike and carrying a rifle, presented the rifle and made threats.
