Duncan supports term limits
A hopeful for Seat Two, State House of Representatives Oconee County has signaled his support for congressional term limits, according to an announcement by a group called U-S Term Limits. It says that Adam Duncan, a Republican candidate in next month’s primary election, is the first in his race to sign a pledge to get 34 states to apply for an amendment for term limits for members of the U-S Congress. On June 11, Duncan will challenge Bill Sandifer, the incumbent in State House District Two for the GOP nomination. The U-S Term Limits president, Philip Blumel, said: “Adam’s strong support of term limits shows that there are individuals who are willing to listen to the majority of voters who want term limits. America,” Blumel said, “needs a Congress that will be served by citizen legislators, not career politicians.”
