Duncan casts vote in the no column

Jeff Duncan, South Carolina’s 3rd District representative, voted in the minority today on the $1.2 trillion-dollar government funding package, to avert a partial government shut down.  And Republican Duncan says, “I proudly voted NO on this omnibus because it does the exact opposite of what Americans demand from Congress” — a reference to the government’s debt and the situation at the southern border.  If the package approved by the House today — and agreed to by the Senate and signed by the president — the government will be funded through September 30.
