Duncan announces his votes on the aid package

The U-S Senate takes up the House-Passed aid packages in Washington.  There’s expectation that military aid funds for both Israel and Ukraine are going to pass.  South Carolina’s 3rd District member, Rep. Jeff Duncan, has announced how he voted and included comments about spending issues.  On the aid to Israel, Duncan voted yes; on the aid to Ukraine, the Laurens Republican cast a no vote.  In a statement, he said, “It’s my belief that these bills should have secured our border and included a ‘pay for’ — a federal program to defund and reallocate money to cover the cost of the aid.  However, that is not what the House was given for consideration.”
