Duncan and Graham behind anti-hazing bill

Jeff Duncan, the 3rd District U-S representative, and Lindsey Graham, U-S senator, are placing their support behind a bi-partisan bill in Washington to require institutions of higher education to make public incidents of hazing.  Duncan says the Report and Educate About Camous Hazing (REACH Act) will honor the life and legacy of Tucker Hipps, who died at 19 years old from a hazing-related incident in 2014 in Oconee County near the Clemson campus.  And Graham said, “I met with the Hipps family earlier this year and I truly appreciate their dedication in bringing the problems of hazing to light.  I’m proud to be a cosponsor the REACH Act.
