Driver’s courtesy to fellow driver ends in accident

The police say two cars collided in the noon hour today when one of the cars tried to make a left turn into the parking lot of the Huddle House on the 123 By-Pass.  One minor injury reported.  From time-to-time, says Capt. B-J McClure, the police investigate reports of one driver pulling to a stop on a multi-lane highway to allow a vehicle ahead to cross the lanes to its destination.  And that’s what police believed happened today on the By-Pass. According to McClure, while it’s a nice courtesy for a motorist to pull to a stop to let another cross, it can have the effect of blinding a motorist from behind in an adjoining lane.
