Domestic violence alleged at two locations

The police have pressed domestic violence charges against a 31-year old Oconee County man who authorities accuse of committing domestic violence at two locations in and around Seneca.  By this morning, Clarence Curtis Hendrix Jr. remained jailed.  Thirty-one year old Hendrix was placed under a surety bond of $100 thousand dollars on a domestic violence second degree charge investigated by the Oconee Sheriff’s Office at 1 Padgett Street.  Bond was denied on kidnapping and domestic violence first degree charges that the Seneca police investigated at 108 Allen Street.  The Seneca police quote the victim as saying she was strangled and was deprived of her phone that prevented her from calling for help.  According to a police officer’s account, the victim sustained bruises and pictures were collected for evidence.
