Digging deeper to pay sewer bills

Customers of Seneca Light and Water will soon start paying 11% more on their sewer bills.  Like other municipalities inside a tri-angular geographic area, Seneca has been grappling with how to absorb treatment cost increases from the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority.  The time to weigh-in on Seneca’s next budget plan was last night, as the mayor and council welcomed public for the annual budget hearing.  But Councilman Dana Moore said not one person spoke.
