Dial succeeds Grant on sewer board

A resident of Oconee’s Richland community received an appointment last night to fill the seat of Tally Grant on the board of commissioners of the Joint Regional Sewer Authority.  He’s David Dial, who is no stranger to the policy business of the JRSA.  Dial has been a regular attendee of board meetings and outspoken in his admiration for the transparency with which the JRSA staff conducts their business.  As a sewer commissioner, Dial will serve the interests of both Walhalla and Westminster.  His appointment was announced to 101.7/WGOG NEWS last night by Brandon Burton, Walhalla city administrator, as the result of an executive session of the Walhalla City Council.
