Democrats to make bus tour stop in Seneca

Representatives of the three announced candidates for the Democratic Party nomination for President will speak Friday afternoon during a campaign stop at Seneca’s Blue Ridge Community Center.  It’s a bus tour stop to kick start attention to South Carolina’s first in the country Democratic presidential primary next month.  The three seeking to be their party’s nominee are Joe Biden, the president, along with author Marianne Williamson and U-S Rep. Dean Phillips of Minnesota.  The scheduled keynote speaker for the bus tour stop will be Jaime Harrison, chairman of the National Democratic Committee.  Jody Gaulin, chairwoman of Oconee Democrats, is urging a large vote on February 3 and calls attention to the early voting period from January 22 to February 2 at the Oconee Election Office in Walhalla.
