Debunking the myths and misconceptions

A representative of Clemson Rural Health comes to Walhalla next month for two classes to impart best ways to manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure through healthy foods and exercise.  Oconeeans are invited to register for one or both free classes to be instructed by Brooke Brittain.  The first one will be 4:30 pm Thursday, March 2 at the Walhalla Library. Brittain will cover how to balance your food plate, ways to lower salt, sugar, and fat in your diet, and how to read a food label.  Tip sheets and handouts will be provided.
