Day for Oconee school kids

Feel the cooler air…a sign of change.  And the big change today is the return of yellow buses, speed zones, crossing guards and the like.  It is day one for Oconee School District’s new year. Traditionally, school officials have stressed, day one is not so much about learning or re-learning as it is simply to get organized to allow students and teachers to take their assigned places.
