Daniel senior on way to being a published researcher

Daniel student Ian Baracskay is in his senior high school year, but already is primed to be a published researcher.  Ian’s work on music streaming services began as a project for an advanced placement course and later evolved into a paper that has been accepted by the annual conference of the Association for Computing Machinery.  Ian and his paper have also been recognized at Clemson University by associate professor Bart Knijnenburg.  “The Diversity of Recommender Systems” explores whether the variety of music that popular streaming services recommend to their users is correlated to the success of those services.
