Crenshaw applauds Prisma’s mental health announcement

Probate Judge Singleton’s idea behind a get together January 19 in Seneca was to bring together local and region officials in position to be able to better help residents suffering from mental health problems.  One of the presenters, Oconee Sheriff Mike Crenshaw, was glad to learn of Prisma Health’s announcement that starting this fall, there will be an eight-bed unit at the Oconee Memorial Hospital devoted to adults and children.  Crenshaw’s reaction and his analysis of the severity of the mental health problem locally can be heard today on 101.7/WGOG NEWS.
